Humidity, however, increases during the period and rainfalls can continue for a couple of days at a stretch. The month of October marks the start of winter season. Temperature during this season remains around 20 degrees centigrade.

Climate of south India – In relevance to Andhra Pradesh and Telangana .

In Andhra Pradesh and Telangana the summer season extends from March to June. During these months, the maximum temperature in most parts of the state records around 35 degrees centigrade.

The coastal plains, however, get too hot during the summer season. Consequently the temperature reaching a high of 45 degrees centigrade st some places.

Undoubtedly In the plateau region, summers are cooler. October to February is the time of the winter season. The minimum temperature ranges between 10 and 12 degrees centigrade. Winter is colder in the plateau regions. Monsoons arrive in the month of July, continuing till September.

The Climate of South is by and large tropical. However hilly areas near Ghats experience equable climate. The Hill stations are fairly cool through the year. The South India receives a good rainfall.
